General
Due to the custom-made nature of William Gill & Sons Ltd products, selected items only are available to purchase online.
Price Policy
The prices of products available online may at times be lower than prices in-store. Should you choose to purchase in-store, any lower online price at the time is not available. Any prices that are displayed as $0.00 are a result of a system error. While we take every effort to ensure accurate pricing, erroneous pricing terms such as $0.00 products will not be honored.
Product Availability
While we make every effort to maintain sufficient stock, at times items sell out or delivery delays occur beyond our control. Should the item you ordered not be in stock, we will contact you to advise when the item will be available. You have the option to cancel your order should this occur, and we will refund your payment. William Gill & Sons Ltd waives any liability in the case of inventory shortages.
Payment Options
Credit and debit cards (Visa and MasterCard) are the only forms of payment accepted for online purchases on the William Gill & Sons Ltd website.
William Gill & Sons Ltd reserves the right to cancel any orders completed by direct credit to our bank if payment is not received within 7 days from the date of your order.
Assembly
To keep delivery charges at a minimum level, selected products will be delivered flat packed for you to assemble. An instruction sheet will be included.
Delivery
We will arrange delivery by either courier or freight company, depending on the size of the item. If being delivered by courier and you are not at home, the courier will leave a card with contact phone number for you to call to organise delivery. If your purchase is being delivered by a freight company, you are required to be available to receive and sign for it. The freight company will contact you when delivery is scheduled.
Rural Delivery
When you have indicated delivery is to a rural address, we will contact you to discuss delivery costs. Payment will not be processed online with your order. We will process payment once full costs are known and agreed by you.
Delivery Restrictions
We only deliver to the mainland North and South Islands of New Zealand. Should you live on Waiheke Island, other offshore islands, or in another country, we will contact you to discuss delivery options and costs.
Returns
We offer a 100% no questions asked money-back guarantee within 10 days of your online purchase. If you change your mind about your purchase, simply return it for a refund. All returns must be in original condition including all protective packaging and returned within 10 days of receipt of the goods. You will need to cover the return freight costs.
Damage in Transit
Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but if upon delivery the goods are damaged or defective, please let us know. We will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you. Please check your purchase for transit damage before the carrier leaves. Any damage found must be noted on the carrier’s delivery docket.
Privacy
We take your privacy very seriously. The information you provide to us will only be used to process your order and arrange delivery. It will not be sold or otherwise divulged to a third party without your consent, except when delivery of your products is by an outside freight company.
